This is one of the more innovative solutions i've ever seen. Changes made by the user to configuration of ecu were saved permanently in non-volatile ram.
The design also allows user to make adjustments configuration settings and direct access tables without being physically connected car. If the user needs even more editing or viewing options, most table data can be directly copied and pasted between Ecmlink application excel.
This device not only provides persistent storage of user configuration changes to the ecu, but it also direct re flash access all factory code table areas as well. Ecmlink v3 is an all-in-one data logging, real-time tuning, and re flashing package for your dsm. Screenshots will follow in other sections, but the highlights include a multi-tab interface that allows user to review multiple catalogs at same time.
The standard data logging cables for both 1g and 2g platforms are now native USB interfaces. Ecmlink v3 takes this a step further with an integrated, drop-in flash device for both 1g and 2g dams as well evo1-3 ecus. It was quite literally a complete rewrite of everything to produce better end-product. Part of that was a completely new laptop application.
They're rugged and designed with years of experience behind them. Ecmlink is a huge departure from our original and very successful dsmlink package. They should connect more easily than the v2 cables and prove to be even reliable. I'm biased, of course, but seriously, i've never seen anything this compact and easy to use for any other platform out there.
Lining two catalogs up and then quickly switching back forth between the tabs is an awesome way to detect minor differences that might other wise have been nearly impossible.
